The authorities of Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU) has filed a complaint with Dinajpur Police Station, the day after BCL factional clash on the campus left two students dead and at least 10 others injured on Thursday night.

"I went to the police station on Friday night, but police sought time to register it as a case," said HSTU Proctor ATM Shafiqul Islam who accused 60 people including 36 identified ones in the complaint.

Ifekharul Islam Real, president of HSTU unit of BCL, and Arun Kanti Roy, its secretary, were in the top of the list of accused.

Later, police brought the situation under control.

ATM Khalequzzaman, officer in charge of Dinajpur Police Station, could not be contacted as his cell phone remained switched off since yesterday morning.
