Chanchal, Rafi join Shakib Khan at screening, spark buzz around ‘Toofan 2’

A special screening of the Shakib Khan-starrer “Prince” was held yesterday at Star Cineplex’s Centre Point branch in Uttara, drawing a host of familiar faces from the entertainment industry.

Fresh from Malaysia after completing the first lot of his upcoming film “Rockstar” set to be released in Eid-ul-Azha, Shakib attended the screening and greeted guests at the event. Among those present were his co-actresses Tasnia Farin and Jyotirmoyee Kundu, alongside members of the film’s cast and industry insiders.

However, it was a single moment that quickly caught public attention—a frame featuring Shakib Khan with director Raihan Rafi and actor Chanchal Chowdhury. The trio, who previously collaborated on “Toofan”, were seen sharing a warm exchange, embracing and celebrating their recent successes.

Their appearance together has reignited speculation about a potential sequel, with the trio informally teasing “Toofan 2”. While no official announcement has been made yet, the possibility of a follow-up to the blockbuster has already generated excitement among audiences.
