Ferdousi Mazumder to reflect on life and acting at ‘Anuswar Sanglap 4’

Legendary actress and cultural icon Ferdousi Mazumder, who has portrayed countless memorable characters on stage and television throughout her long career, will engage in a live conversation with audiences about her life and acting journey.

Since its third anniversary in 2022, theatre troupe Anuswar has been organising its regular discussion series, “Anuswar Sanglap”. The event features prominent cultural personalities in conversation with audiences. This year’s guest is acclaimed actor Ferdousi Mazumder.

The fourth edition of “Anuswar Sanglap” will be held on July 25 at 5 pm at the Studio Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. Titled “Jibon o Ovinoy” (Life and Acting), the session will focus on Ferdousi Mazumder’s personal and professional journey. She will also answer questions directly from the audience.

The first edition of “Anuswar Sanglap” featured theatre personality Syed Jamil Ahmed. He spoke about his career and personal experiences while responding to questions from theatre enthusiasts. This year’s event will offer audiences another opportunity to hear directly from one of Bangladesh’s most respected actors about her experiences in theatre and television.


Ferdousi Mazumder is regarded as one of the country’s most distinguished stage and television actors. Over the course of her career, she has appeared in numerous theatre productions and television dramas, earning widespread recognition for her performances. Her work on stage has received particular acclaim.
