Stories of timeless love have inspired generations, and that theme takes centre stage in the television drama "Omor Prem", which introduces a fresh on-screen pairing of Tanjim Saiara Totini and Partho Sheikh.

The drama has been receiving praise from industry peers since its release. Popular television actor Tawsif Mahbub congratulated Partho by sharing his photo on Facebook, writing, "The screen has found another star. Congratulations, little brother! Wishing you endless success, love, and every applause you truly deserve."

Actor Farhan Ahmed Jovan also extended his congratulations, while directors Jakaria Showkhin, Rafat Majumder Rinku, Emrose Shaon and Hasib Hossain Rakhi wished the new on-screen duo success.

"Omor Prem" marks Partho Sheikh's return to acting after a hiatus of nearly seven months. The actor had taken a temporary break following his marriage for personal reasons and makes his comeback with director Zahidul Islam Sujon's latest project.

Reflecting on the response to the drama, Sujon said, "A new story, a new pairing and a bold new attempt. This journey has become even more special because of the heartfelt love and support from senior actors and directors. I am grateful to everyone. As a director, I also owe Totini my gratitude for her cooperative attitude throughout the production."

Written by Zahidul Islam Sujon, Rassel Parvez and Shahriar Shajib, the drama explores themes of love, family and relationships. Produced by CMV, "Omor Prem" premiered on GTV's YouTube channel on July 26 and has since amassed 4.8 million views.

The ensemble cast also features Dilara Zaman, Shatabdi Wadud, Lutfur Rahman George and Rashed Mamun Apu, among others.
