Stray Kids’ Lee Know donates 100 million won for Nepal flood relief

Stray Kids member Lee Know has donated 100 million won (around US$72,600) to support relief efforts for communities affected by devastating floods in Nepal.

The singer made the contribution through humanitarian organisation World Vision on Friday, with his agency JYP Entertainment confirming the donation on Sunday.

Lee Know requested that the funds be used to support children and families facing difficulties following the disaster. Through JYP Entertainment, he said he hoped the contribution would provide strength to those going through a difficult period.

“I hope my support can offer a little strength to those going through this difficult time,” Lee Know said.

The K-pop star also expressed concern for both flood-affected communities and relief workers involved in recovery efforts, hoping they could return to normal life soon.

The assistance will include essential supplies such as food and temporary shelter, along with clean water and sanitation facilities. The funds will support people whose homes and livelihoods have been affected by the flooding.

Lee Know has maintained a long association with World Vision, having sponsored children through the organisation since 2014. His latest contribution adds to his previous charitable activities, including a 100 million won donation in 2024 to support efforts related to the global food crisis.

The Stray Kids member has also contributed to healthcare and animal welfare causes. Last year, he donated 100 million won to Samsung Medical Center and made another 100 million won donation to a cat rescue organisation.

World Vision said Lee Know's latest contribution will be directed towards immediate relief needs, providing essential support to families affected by the floods.
