The trailer for “Drishyam: The Conclusion”, the third instalment in the Hindi “Drishyam” franchise, has been released, introducing Jaideep Ahlawat as a new police officer determined to uncover the truth behind the case that Vijay Salgaonkar has kept hidden for years.

Ajay Devgn returns as Vijay, with Tabu reprising her role as IG Meera Deshmukh. In the trailer, Meera is once again determined to expose Vijay's involvement in the death of her son, but this time she is joined by Ahlawat's SP Crime Branch Rajveer Singh Tomar and Prakash Raj, who appears as a lawyer.

Meera's pursuit has also taken a darker turn. “I don't want justice anymore. I want revenge,” she declares in the trailer.

Vijay, meanwhile, appears aware that his carefully constructed story may finally be under serious threat. He tells his family that what lies ahead is no longer a game of wits, but a game of destiny.

The film brings back Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor, Ishita Dutta and Mrunal Jadhav, alongside the new additions Ahlawat and Prakash Raj.

Directed by Abhishek Pathak, “Drishyam: The Conclusion” is written by Pathak, Aamil Keeyan Khan and Parveez Shaikh. It is presented by Star Studio18 and produced by Panorama Studios.

The film follows the Hindi adaptation of the Malayalam “Drishyam” franchise created by filmmaker Jeethu Joseph. The first Hindi film, released in 2015, established Vijay as a man willing to go to extraordinary lengths to protect his family after his daughter became involved in the death of a teenage boy. The 2022 sequel continued the family's attempt to stay ahead of the investigation.

“Drishyam: The Conclusion” is scheduled to release in cinemas on October 2.

The film is being positioned as the concluding chapter of Vijay Salgaonkar's story, with the new trailer setting up what could be the family's biggest challenge yet.
