‘Rockstar’ new teaser spotlights Shakib-Sabila’s on-screen chemistry

Dhallywood megastar Shakib Khan’s much-anticipated film “Rockstar” is gearing up for release this Eid ul Adha. Following the excitement surrounding its first teaser, the makers have now unveiled a second teaser that offers a deeper glimpse into the film’s story, emotions, and central relationships.

Directed by Azman Rusho, “Rockstar” is a musical action thriller that has already generated significant buzz among audiences.

The first official teaser, running for one minute and 20 seconds, largely focused on a high-energy jamming session. Shakib Khan appeared in a transformed look, sporting long hair and a leaner physique as a charismatic rock musician.

Concert performances, cheering fans, high-voltage action, and the actor’s intense screen presence formed the core attraction of the first teaser. However, the film’s two leading actresses remained mostly absent, as the teaser centred almost entirely on establishing Shakib Khan’s “Rockstar” persona.

The teaser concluded with the message: “This is only the beginning. Wait for the second teaser.”

The newly released teaser shifts focus from spectacle to story, romance, and emotional conflict. While the first teaser emphasised concerts and excitement, the second introduces the emotional isolation of a rockstar and hints at the complexities brought into his life through different relationships.

Set against the melancholic background track “No One Loves Me”, the teaser highlights emotional tension, dramatic turns, and glimpses of the protagonist’s personal struggles. It suggests that “Rockstar” is not merely centred on music or action, but also on the rise and fall of a performer’s personal life.

One of the biggest highlights of the second teaser is actress Sabila Nur, who appears in a glamorous and commanding role opposite Shakib Khan.

Following “Taandob”, this marks another major big-screen project for the actress. A particular scene featuring Sabila Nur riding on the back of Shakib Khan’s motorcycle has already sparked strong reactions online among fans.

Her screen presence, expressions, and on-screen chemistry with Shakib Khan stand out prominently throughout the teaser. Their stylish and romantic pairing appears to add a new dimension to the film.

Earlier, Sabila Nur expressed excitement about being part of the project, saying she felt proud to work alongside a megastar like Shakib Khan in such a large-scale production. The second teaser’s strong focus on her character also suggests that her role will play a significant part in shaping the story.

Alongside the Shakib-Sabila pairing, the teaser also introduces two contrasting female characters played by Tangia Zaman Methila and Sunidhi Nayak. Both appear alongside Shakib Khan’s rockstar character in striking and glamorous moments.

Sunidhi Nayak’s appearance, in particular, is expected to surprise audiences.

Produced under the banners of Sun Motion Pictures Limited and Pinwheel Films, “Rockstar” will stream exclusively on Chorki following its theatrical release.

The second teaser has further heightened anticipation among both Shakib Khan and Sabila Nur fans ahead of Eid ul Adha, with audiences now eagerly awaiting the film’s release on the big screen.
