DICAPRIO TO TAKE BREAK FROM ACTING, OUT OF JOBS BIOPIC!

Fans of Apple and its legendary co-founder Steve Jobs have already seen one biopic based on the late tech icon's life (last year's Jobs), but many agreed that the Ashton Kutcher vehicle left a little to be desired. The new Jobs biopic was penned by Oscar-winner Aaron Sorkin (The Social Network) and has generated buzz due to the story being told in three large, 30-minute scenes (highlighting the launch of the original Macintosh computer, the NeXT computer, and the first iPod) as opposed to a more traditional film structure. Despite being in development for three years (around the time of Jobs' death), it finally acquired a director in the form of Danny Boyle (after David Fincher passed) and is still without a leading man. When Boyle signed on to direct, it was reported that he was approaching Leonardo DiCaprio to take on the role of Jobs, but this will not happen. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the Oscar-nominated thespian has stepped out, as he looks forward to taking a break from acting following production of Alejandro González Iñarritu's The Revenant.
