Global K-pop sensation BTS have officially announced their long-awaited world tour, marking their return to the global stage after nearly four years.
Following the release of their upcoming album, the group will kick off the tour on April 9 at the Goyang Sports Complex in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. The official tour poster was unveiled on Tuesday night via global fan platform Weverse.
So far, 79 concerts across 34 cities in North America, Europe, South America and Asia have been confirmed. The scale of the tour is already being described as a record-breaking feat, reportedly the highest number of shows ever staged on a single tour by a K-pop group.

BTS last toured in 2022, concluding their “Permission to Dance on Stage” shows in Las Vegas. Since then, the group had remained off the touring circuit. The newly announced world tour marks a full-scale comeback for members RM, Jungkook and the rest of the group.

After the opening shows in South Korea, the North American leg will begin on April 25, starting in Florida. BTS are set to perform 28 shows across 12 cities in the region.

The tour will move to Europe between June and July, with 10 concerts scheduled across five cities, including London and Paris. The South American leg will see the group perform in cities such as São Paulo and Buenos Aires, along with three other locations.

Ahead of the tour, BTS are set to release a full-length album on March 20. This will be their first studio album in nearly four years, adding to the anticipation surrounding both the release and the tour.
