Bangladesh National Film Award recipient Shujeo Shyam, who is also an artiste at the Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra, received the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at the award ceremony.

A concert titled “Cholo Bangladesh” has been arranged by Grameenphone in view of the Tigers performing on the biggest stage of the cricket world. A new documentary about the 82-year-old folk singer-songwriter Joan Baez is set to be screened on Friday and Saturday at the Landmark Nuart Theatre in West LA.
