Eminent actor and Member of Parliament Asaduzzaman Noor is set to come back on radio with the drama, "Tahar Kotha", after 30 years. He will play the role of a school teacher in the production.

Asaduzzaman Noor has been a listed radio artiste for a long time. "I was an active performer on radio in my initial days, and loved it as much as I loved theatre," he shares. "However, after the Bangladesh Betar office shifted from Shahbag to Agargaon, I started getting detached from it."

The actor also shares how radio had a lot of listeners back in the day. "I started becoming more involved with television and theatre. Slowly, the small interval became a long gap of three decades. Nevertheless, I am finally back and it feels great," he adds.

"Tahar Kotha", the Syeda Farida Ferdousi Jatri directorial, is written by Parimal Sarkar. It will air on January 12.
