Farooki-Tisha’s year-end surprise, couple announces first child

Internationally acclaimed filmmaker Mostofa Sarwar Farooki and National Award-winning actress Nusrat Imrose Tisha are expecting their first child. The news was announced by Farooki himself, posting a photo on his verified Facebook account, showing Tisha's cute baby bump.

"It is an inexplicable and ecstatic feeling, as we discover ourselves as parents," he shared, writing a few lines of beautiful poetry with the post.   

"People have been asking me why Tisha has not been appearing in any production, the reason is that Tisha and I have been expecting our first child," wrote the director. He also asked his friends, fans, and well wishers to pray for him and his happy family.

The couple tied the knot in 2010, in what was one of the most anticipated celebrity weddings of the year.
