Hollywood starts to feel presence of Omicron

Covid's latest variant, Omicron is here, and its spread has started impacting Hollywood premieres and Television productions.

The premiere of "Spider-Man: No Way Home" which maintained high level of Covid-19 safety protocols couldn't stop the spread of Omicron.

A top agent at one of the major talent agencies had tested positive for Covid-19 after attending both the premiere and Holland's more selective after party for about 75 people.

Award shows such as Critics Choice Awards and the Sundance Film Festival might be cancelled due to the impact of Omicron.

CBS's hit sitcom "Ghosts" halted production until 2022 after there was a Covid-19 case detected on the sets.  Netflix's popular series "The Crown" also wrapped up early amidst rising cases of the virus.
