Mithila tests positive for Covid-19

Celebrated actress Rafiath Rashid Mithila has tested positive for Covid-19. The news was confirmed to The Daily Star by Mithila over the phone.

Earlier, her husband renowned Indian filmmaker Srijit Mukherjee was diagnosed with the virus. He was staying in quarantine. Her daughter, Ayra, also has the virus.

"Ayra is doing better now. However, Srijit and I still have some symptoms," says Mithila. "I had tested positive two days ago."

The multi-talented personality asked prayers for her family's fast recovery and requested everyone to wear masks, avoid crowds and stay safe.
