EMMA WATSON: I'm A Certified Yoga Instructor

She may be enjoying her time as an world-renowned actress, but now Emma Watson admits she definitely has a backup career in mind. During her interview with ELLE Australia magazine, the "Harry Potter" starlet revealed she decided to become a certified yoga instructor just after her schedule became completely hectic. "I was like, 'I need to find a way to always feel safe and at home within myself,'" Miss Watson explained. "Because I can never rely on a physical place." Emma also shared details about her love for the Yoga during her interview with Wonderland magazine for the February/March 2014 issue. "I can be a full-time actress and a part-time yoga instructor."

 

 

 

Irrfan Khan to shuttle between India and the US for Jurassic World and Piku

Accomplished actor Irrfan Khan will spend the rest of this year living out of a suitcase as he will be shooting for two films - Jurassic World and Piku. This week he leaves for the US to begin shooting for Colin Trevorrow-directed fourth part of the phenomenal Jurassic Park franchise. The film is to be shot in Hawaii and New Orleans. "It's a brief schedule to begin with, though my role is anything but brief. At the moment all I can tell you on record is that it's a pivotal role. I am very excited about the project. It's the second American global franchise after Spiderman that I am part of," said Irrfan. The actor also said he is exceptionally excited about working with Amitabh Bachchan in Piku.

Chris Brown Faces Felony Possibility For Alleged Washington DC Assault

Currently en route to his Washington DC trial, Chris Brown now apparently faces a prison sentence for his alleged assault of a man near the W Hotel in October 2013. TMZ reportedly obtained legal documents filed by prosecutors, stating that they have taken the case to the grand jury, believing there is sufficient evidence to support felony charges. The 25-year-old rapper has been charged with misdemeanor assault, and his lawyer, Mark Geragos, has also filed documents requesting the case's dismissal, claiming prosecutors misused the grand jury system. However, the prosecution has stated that the victim's injuries required hospitalization, which could potentially justify a felony charge, if the evidence holds.

Gwendoline Christie, the 6'3” actress best known for portraying Brienne of Tarth on the HBO drama, has been cast in Mockingjay - Part 2 as Commander Lyme, taking over in the role for Lily Rabe, who had to drop out due to a scheduling conflict. Lyme is a past Victor and one of the leaders of District 13; she's a native of District 2.The final two installments of this Jennifer Lawrence-anchored franchise are both shooting simultaneously at the moment in Atlanta.

“Women need to be smart, nobody is going to empower them," said Sonam Kapoor, a talented and outspoken actor, while expressing her views on the safety of women improving after the national elections. "If we want change, we need to be the change. We can't expect to talk about it and do nothing about it," added the actress, who is the daughter of well-known actor-filmmaker Anil Kapoor. The election will involve 814 million voters, who are hoping to see positive change in the country after the polls, but the 28-year-old, tagged as the Bollywood's style diva, begs to differ. Known for her candour, she feels that in the battle of the ballot, there is no place for "dignity". "Being extremely honest, I want to be optimistic about it (politics), but I am going to be realistic about it. I think changes will come very slowly. I hate to be not diplomatic, but that's what it is. That's how our country is working right now," she said.  A staggering 100 million first-time voters would be casting their ballot in the April-May polls, whose results would be declared on May 16. In the last few years crime against women has been on the rise and voters are hoping for a constructive change in this regard.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui: Looking forward to work with Salman Khan

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is excited about finally sharing the frame with the superstar. “I've been told not to say anything about my role. But I am looking forward to working with Salman Khan. He is such a huge star and doing terrific work,” said Nawazuddin. For now, he is gearing up to work hard for the role of a classical vocalist in a forthcoming film. He would be hiring himself a Hindustani classical vocal maestro to train him. The film entitled The Music Teacher, to be directed by Sarthak Dasgupta, requires Nawazuddin to be an adept vocalist. While an expert vocalist can sing for Nawaz, he would like to look convincing while putting forward the nuances, and hence, the tutoring.

 

 

Madhuri Dixit named most inspirational female Bollywood icon

Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit has been named the most inspirational female Bollywood icon, becoming the first to receive the honour instituted last year. The 46-year-old actress was bestowed the honour at the third annual Bradford Inspirational Women Awards (BIWA) in Bradford in the UK. Last year, as the world celebrated 100 years of Bollywood cinema, a special category was announced at BIWA 2013 for the public to nominate their most Inspirational Female Bollywood Icon. "I wanted to reach out and thank the Inspirational Women's Foundation for choosing me as the most inspirational Female Bollywood Icon of all times. It's indeed a great honour," Madhuri said in a special video message played at the event.

She was still breaking into the Hollywood realm, and back in 1997 Kate Winslet agreed to appear nude for one steamy moment in the Oscar winning film “Titanic.” She was nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role award at the 1998 Oscars. The film remained at the top of the list of highest grossing films of all time for over a decade, until it was topped by Avatar in 2009. The star told Yahoo that to this day she sees her bare-chested photo all the time. Winslet shared, "People ask me to sign that picture a lot. It's still haunting me. It's quite funny really." But don't expect to get a signature - "I don't sign that picture. It feels very uncomfortable. Why would I do that? I'm like, 'No! I didn't mean for it to be a photograph that I would end up seeing still 17 years later.'"
