Rosario Dawson Joins Marvel's 'Daredevil'

Marvel has recently reacquired Daredevil from Twentieth Century Fox, and is bringing the blind crime-fighting lawyer to television in a 13-episode series based in New York's Hell's Kitchen. Charlie Cox will play the titular hero Matt Murdock and Vincent D'Onofrio has been cast as Wilson Fisk (The Kingpin). Joining them will be Rosario Dawson. The character she is to play is still a mystery, but Jeph Loeb, Marvel's Head of Television, says “her role in the series is absolutely critical to Matt Murdock's journey to become the hero we know as Daredevil”.

IS THIS WHAT BRANIAC WILL LOOK LIKE IN MAN OF STEEL SEQUEL?

Character artist Jose Lazaro aka "Ballo" never ceases to amaze with his surreal artwork. Ballo has created two amazing comic character designs, his re-imagining of Brainiac was the winner at 2014's Comic-Con art show! This is what Ballo had to say about his villain: "I redesign a character called Brainiac from DC Superman Universe. My main goal was to do a cinematic character with a sci-fi film look. Brainiac isn't the most famous Superman villain, but I like the dark style that he has." Is it just us that think these designs really belong in the Man of Steel sequel? The sequel, titled Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, hits theaters on May 6th, 2016!

Salman Khan: Am a huge fan of Amitabh Bachchan's Jumma Chumma song

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has denied that there is any similarity between Jumme ki raat song from his upcoming film Kick and megastar Amitabh Bachchan's popular number Jumma chumma dede from 1991 movie Hum. The word Jumma draws attention to the popular song from the action-drama, which featured Bachchan and heroine Kimi Katkar. The 48-year-old actor, who unveiled the first look of the song Jumme ki raat, however, said the similarity ends with the word jumma. ”I knew this question will be asked. I am a big fan of Jumma chumma dede. Whenever the song comes on TV, I watch the whole number. But my song is shot differently.”

Frank Grillo set to return as Crossbones!

Frank Grillo played Brock Rumlow in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, one of Cap's more persistent antagonists. Comic book fans will know, though, that Rumlow is far better known as Crossbones, and is one of the toughest opponents that Cap has come up against. Fans believe he was shone burnt but alive on purpose at the end; maybe so that the evil corporation HYDRA can make a super soldier out of him for the next Captain America movie! In a recent interview, Grillo revealed, “I'm cautiously optimistic that you will see me in the not too distant future in the next installment of Captain America."

New Expendables 3 Trailer Triples The Action

The Expendables franchise is made up of action legends, and the explosive new trailer seems to prove why they still pack a punch. Perhaps the most impressive thing about the Expendables franchise is its ability to take such an expansive cast and have a necessity for their respective parts, while bridging current and past action stars in a explosion-esque power flick. The third installment of the series focuses on the mercenary group's collision battle with the Expendable's co-founder and ruthless arms dealer Conrad Stonebanks (Mel Gibson), who is Hell bent on destroying the team. Of course Stallone and co. get back to business with a set of new faces including Harrison Ford, Wesley Snipes, Kellan Lutz, Ronda Rousey, Antonio Banderas, and Kelsey Grammer. The Expendables 3 hits theaters August 15, 2014.

Say Hello to the Electric Black Widow

Almost every Marvel movie thus far has changed up the heroes' costume. In Avengers 2, which opens May 1, 2015, all new costumes will be adorned with the Avengers “A” logo, including “Hulk's 'extendable' pants (dark purple in color) that expand and shrink with his Hulk/Banner transitions.” But that's not all. Black Widow's costume update will feature not only the previously reported batons, but her suit is said to be more “electric” in nature with blue lights and electricity around the suit. Her enemies will now receive electric shocks or a “widow's sting” when she hits them, giving her more of a “superhero” edge. We already saw a teaser to this in Captain America: The Winter Soldier's opening rescue scene.

32 Versions of the Same Song for the World Cup part of a Massive Ad Campaign?

In 2010, as part of its $300 million ad campaign for the South African World Cup, Coca-Cola released two dozen versions of K'Naan's Wavin' Flag. “Wavin' Flag” became a No. 1 iTunes hit in 17 different countries. This year the company is at it again. For the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, the brand has released 32 versions of a new song called The World Is Ours, tailored to different countries. The World Cup is Coca-Cola's biggest and broadest marketing campaign—much larger than even the Olympics. Coke is running its World Cup campaign in 85 percent of its markets around the world, vs. the 50 percent of markets that carried promotions for the 2012 London Olympics. It is also one of the World Cup's largest advertising partners. It's one of eight advertising sponsors to spend, collectively, $600 million on Brazilian TV ads during the tournament.
