SHAHID KAPOOR AND ALIA BHATT TO BECOME INSOMNIACS
Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will play characters suffering from insomnia in Vikas Bahl's 'Shaandaar'. According to reports, Shahid and Alia's character in the film are quirky. The couple apparently meets during a wedding and their common problem helps them bond. Filmmaker Vikas Bahl and his team of writers reportedly did a lot of research on insomnia and also presented some study material to the two lead actors so that they could get familiar with the problem and its nuances. 'Shandaar' is being touted as India's biggest destination film. The shooting for the flick began just a few days ago in UK. Besides Shahid and Alia, 'Shandaar' also stars veteran actor Pankaj Kapur and will mark the acting debut of his sister Sanah. It is slated to hit the silver screen sometime in 2015.
DOES AL PACINO WANT TO BE IN A MARVEL MOVIE?

Marvel is having a terrific year (again!) with Guardians of the Galaxy. Director James Gunn is over the moon, having Joss Whedon, lord and master of the MCU, say good things about his movie. Receiving similar, if possibly more effusive, compliments from Al Pacino isn't half bad, either. Pacino made his remarks about Gunn's film while discussing his own current projects screening at the festival, David Gordon Green's Manglehorn and Barry Levinson's The Humbling. In addition, he said he wouldn't be opposed to being cast in a Marvel movie, “I would do anything that I could understand in terms of how I fit in it. And you know, of course if I could fit in it. Anything's possible. You know, I did Dick Tracy and I got an Oscar nomination, so come on. I mean, what can I say?”

‘Arrow' Season 3 Premiere features 'Arsenal'
Arrow is arguably the most popular superhero TV show on the air currently – which could change if shows like The Flash have anything to say about it – and that's thanks in large part to the producers' decision to up the ante and expand the universe. Now, with the season 3 premiere just about a month away, images from the episode have been released to whet our Arrow-loving appetite, featuring Arrow himself (Stephen Amell), the recently revealed Arsenal (Colton Haynes), Laurel and Quentin Lance (Katie Cassidy and Paul Blackthorne), The Canary (Sara Lance), and Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards). Arsenal, of course, is based on the comic book character Speedy, who functioned as Green Arrow's sidekick for much of his career and is perhaps most famous for his teenage heroin addiction. Later, he went by the codenames Arsenal and then Red Arrow when he replaced Green Arrow on the Justice League.

'DAAWAT-E-ISHQ' CELEBRATION OF LOVE AND FOOD: PARINEETI CHOPRA
Gastronomic love stories are a rarity in Bollywood and "Daawat-e-Ishq" is one of those rare films on the subject and the film's lead actress says the movie is all about celebration of food and love. Praising the plot, Parineet Chopra said: “Though food plays an important part in 'Daawat-e-Ishq', it is at the end of the day a love story. I'd say 'Daawat-e-Ishq' is a celebration of love and food, love for food, love over food, and what have you,” the 25-year-old said about the film, which has been produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Habib Faisal. It will be released on Sep 19. She also added, “Anupam (Kher) Sir, Aditya Roy Kapoor and I are all foodies. So we really enjoyed doing this film.”

BEN AFFLECK'S 'LIVE BY NIGHT' CASTS MILLER, SALDANA & FANNING
Ben Affleck's busy at the moment, as he's portraying middle-aged Bruce Wayne in Zack Snyder's Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice (which is currently in the midst of production), but the Oscar-winning actor/filmmaker already has plans to get back into the director's seat after he's done. The next project on Affleck's agenda is Live by Night, a film adaptation of the period/crime novel by Dennis Lehane (author of Mystic River and Shutter Island) that will feature Affleck as the writer, the helmsman, and, as it were, the star. Affleck has found stars to play the three female leads in his new Lehane book-turned movie. The list includes Sienna Miller (namely, Foxcatcher and American Sniper), Zoe Saldana (Avatar, Star Trek, Guardians of the Galaxy), and Elle Fanning (Maleficent).

DWAYNE "THE ROCK" JOHNSON IS BLACK ADAM!
For the longest time, Dwayne Johnson has been teasing that he'd be getting involved with the DC Cinematic Universe that Warner Bros. is working on. And folks have been pretty eager to see what role he would take. Some preferred that he become Green Lantern John Stewart, while others thought he'd be great in the role of Billy Batson's alter ego, the hero Shazam. Well, the latter fans were SORT OF right. The Rock has taken on the role of Shazam's Archnemesis, Black Adam. Here's how he announced it: "Kneel at his feet or get crushed by his boot." My honor to become.. #BlackAdam #TheAntiHero #DCComics
