NICOLE KIDMAN Bares it for JIMMY CHOO

The actress has stripped down for the new "Jimmy Choo" campaign. Nicole Kidman went topless and raised eyebrows for a series of sexy campaign shots for upmarket shoe and accessory brand. The 46-year-old star commented: "I've always loved fashion and often use it as a way to get into character. There is a lot of complexity, mystery and femininity to the Jimmy Choo woman." The actress was chosen by the company's creative director, Sandra Choi, as part of her recent bid to shake things up and appeal to an edgier kind of client with "attitude". Sandra said, "I'm such a great admirer and feel enormously honoured to be working with Nicole Kidman. Nicole is one of the finest actresses in the world, who I knew could convey the empowered glamour of the brand. But she is also so nuanced and refined; she brings an attitude of defiance, strength, sensuality and elegance." Nicole is no stranger to fronting high profile brands and has memorably starred in ads for Chanel No.5 perfume and Omega watches.

Depp on the Mortdecai set: Caught with something fishy!

It's no secret that celebrities have to deal with an ungodly amount of stress, and it seems Johnny Depp may have been chilling out with a little help from his friend Mary Jane last week on January 9. Following a long day of filming his new project “Mortdecai,” he was caught on camera passing a fishy-looking cigarette to a friend as he stepped out of his trailer, sparking rumors that he's been sparking up! And as Johnny packed up and headed home for the day, he definitely had a carefree and happy smile on his face, perhaps the result of the sticky icky. Also starring Ewan McGregor, Olivia Munn and Gwyneth Paltrow, “Mortdecai” is about “art dealer Charles Mortdecai as he searches for a stolen painting rumored to contain a secret code that gains access to hidden Nazi gold.”

Shia LaBeouf to retire from public life?

Transformers actor Shia LaBeouf has been heavily criticized by the media and fans following the discovery that his short film HowardCantour.com appeared to be heavily based on Daniel Clowes' comic book Justin M. Damiano. LaBeouf did not credit Clowes and the comic book writer has stated that LaBeouf never got in touch with him to talk about it. LaBeouf also posted an apology on Twitter that seemed to have been copy and pasted from a post on Yahoo Answers. In other words, the apology for the plagiarism had also been plagiarized! LaBeouf then took things to a new and even stranger level by hiring a sky-writer to spell out “I am sorry Daniel Clowes” in the clouds over Los Angeles. Last week, however, LaBeouf has apparently undergone another change of heart and has lashed out at Clowes by posting on Twitter, “Storyboard for my next short “Daniel Boring”.  The storyboard is clearly based on Clowes' graphic novel “David Boring”. Describing the recent plagiarism claims as “attacks against my artistic integrity,” LaBeouf announced that he is henceforth retiring from public life entirely. But, he has not yet deleted his Twitter account!

Twitter gets STALLONE in trouble

The legendary actor found himself in hot water last year for criticising fellow Hollywood star Bruce Willis on Twitter - after Bruce dropped out of his movie The Expendables 3 over a pay dispute - and he now chooses to be very "careful" about using social networking websites. He explained: "Every time I use social media I really get in trouble! I think George Clooney said it best when he said you've got to be an idiot to be celebrity and use Twitter. You wake up in the morning when you're sober and your career is over! You've got to be really, really careful. You think you're a genius up there in the middle of the night and you wake up an idiot." The 67-year-old star admits he isn't technologically savvy. He quipped, "I'm really basic with the iPhone. I think I've figured out how the camera works and that's about it. I keep it very simple."

Is ARNOB moving to MUMBAI?

After a performance in the last week of the year in Gulshan, the very popular singer Shayan Chowdhury Arnob announced that he is leaving for Mumbai where he will be collaborating with music director Pritam Chakraborty (who recently composed music Dhoom 3) and his associate and singer Arijit Singh. Apparently Pritam and Arijit had invited Arnob earlier on as well, but Arnob could not manage to go because of many reasons and his involvements here, but this time he expects to be in Mumbai for a good amount of time. Does this mean Arnob is packing all his clothes and moving to Mumbai for good? Probably not. Since he has also already started work on his new album, Arnob with Friends 2, which he plans to release sometime in mid-2014. He plans to be on the go, moving back and forth India and Bangladesh to keep up with his work across countries.

Sushmita Sen LOSES WEIGHT FOR 2014

Sushmita Sen has lost weight and is gearing up for a comeback and says 2014 is going to be her year. "I have been preparing since 2013. I know every time an actor loses weight or starts looking fitter or thinner, it is always for a reason. But this is me getting ready for the most fantastic time of my life in all aspects. Professionally and personally 2014 is going to be my year," the 38-year-old said. Sushmita is eagerly awaiting the announcement of two projects. "Professionally you are going to see me back this year for sure. We have two very nice announcements, hopefully they should happen soon. The filming for one of them begins in July and the rest of is more of combination of the entrepreneur side of me and the actor and the mum side of me, all of it together," Sushmita said.
