Shakib and Jaya Together on screen  for 100 days!

As of 24th January 2014, 'Purno Dorgho Prem Kahini', starring Shakib Khan and Jaya Ahsan has been in theatres for 100 days. Arefin Shuvo, Rajjak, Anowara, Sohel Rana, Bobita, Subrata, Diti, Shaju Khadem and Mimo are part of the supporting cast of the film, which has been running non-stop since its release in 2013 on Eid-ul-Azha. Written by Rumman Rashid Khan, and directed by Safiudding Safi, the movie has been produced by Friends Movies International. It was launched at 33 cinema halls across the country, and so far, has been featured at 130 cinema halls of Bangladesh. Friends Movies International has already started work on two films, once of which will bring Shakib Khan and Tisha together on the silver screen. Emma Roberts And Evan Peters  Engaged!

The 22 year-old actress and 26 year-old co-star Evan Peters, have decided to tie the knot! The two have been dating since 2012, and currently star in the FX series American Horror Story together. While the news has not been officially confirmed from their reps, People Magazine and Us Weekly have confirmed the engagement.   And according to E! News, Roberts was spotted in New Orleans with Evans sporting a pink and gold diamond ring on her left hand, wowza! While the happy couple seems to be very happy, it was only last year that Roberts got arrested for a domestic dispute she had with Peters.  However no charges were pressed and the couple and their reps summed it up as an “unfortunate incident and misunderstanding.” Well, best of luck to the happy couple!  Let's hope that they are taking the right steps to have a happy marriage without the cops getting involved.

30 Rock star Maulik Pancholy gets engaged

Indian origin star Maulik Pancholy, best known for his roles in `30 Rock` and `Weeds`, is engaged to get married to boyfriend after nine years of dating. The 39-year-old actor announced the engagement news on his Twitter page by posting a picture with his boyfriend at Taj Mahal. Corvaia is the founder and owner of New York City-based catering and hospitality company Dish Food & Events. Pancholy came out as gay in the November issue of Out magazine where he discussed his relationship with Corvaia. "I just celebrated my nine-year anniversary with my partner. It feels like a nice time to be celebrating something like that, especially on the heels of the DOMA and Prop 8 decisions," Pancholy had said at that time. The actor, who currently voices the title character on Nickelodeon`s animated comedy series, had protested against Indian Supreme Court`s decision to uphold a law that criminalizes homosexual relationships.

The 'Baby' hitmaker, whose bond was set at $2,500 after he was charged with drink driving, resisting arrest and drag racing in Miami, Florida, has been released from jail on bail but was extremely upset upon returning to a
detention centre after the hearing. A source told People.com that the 19-year-old star, who smiled in one of his mugshots, was "crying his eyes out" after he appeared in court with his high-powered attorney Roy Black in an orange jail uniform. The singer was arrested in Miami Beach after being stopped for
allegedly drag racing in a rented yellow Lamborghini and soon after he failed a sobriety test, was accused of disobeying officer's orders and was found to have an expired license. The 'Heartbreaker' hitmaker's dad Jeremy Bieber, 38, was reportedly among the 19-year-old star's entourage when he was taken into police custody and charged with drink driving, resisting arrest and drag racing in Miami, Florida on 23rd Jan 2014.

Salman's 'Being Human' to launch a campaign for specially-abled

Superstar Salman Khan's Being Human Foundation has joined hands with a news channel to launch Veer, a two-month-long media campaign showcasing case examples of Persons with Disabilities (PwD), who have succeeded in their endeavours on the strength of their self-belief. Aerated drink Thumbs Up has joined hands with its brand ambassador Salman's Being Human Foundation and CNN-IBN for the campaign, which has American India Foundation (AIF) as implementation partners. The initiative aims to reach out to PwDs with skill training and employment opportunities. It will also raise advocacy on issues revolving around inclusiveness, employability of PwDs and workplace accessibility. In its first phase, the campaign aims to collect funds to train and economically empower at least 1,000 PwDs.

Pan hooks rising actor to play lead villainous role

Warner Bros Pan has just hooked a leading man. Garrett Hedlund of Tron: Legacy and Inside Llewyn Davis fame is to become the dastardly Hook in Joe Wright's adaptation of J.M. Barrie famous children's tale. Apparently, Hedlund saw off competition from Boardwalk Empire's Jack Huston and The Perks of Being a Wallflower's Ezra Miller to grab the role. The movie is still in its early stages of pre-production, with the script being completed by Jason Fuchs. According to Deadline, the script features an orphan who is “taken to the magical world of Neverland, where he becomes the savior of the natives and leads a rebellion against evil pirates.” Both Hugh Jackman and Javier Bardem are reportedly up for the role of Blackbeard. This is rather quite interesting as it suggests Fuchs has messed around with the story a bit to also accommodate Treasure Island's most famous swashbuckler.

Shah Rukh Khan injury not minor, has fractured shoulder

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan who was injured on Thursday on the sets of Happy New Year, has been advised complete rest as his injury is far from minor, as reported earlier. Khan went back to the hospital for more tests on Thursday night following which it came out that his injuries were not minor. The Bollywood Badshah was rushed to Nanavati Hospital after suffering an injury on the sets of his forthcoming film Happy New Year. Directed by Farah Khan, the film, which is heavy on dance sequences, saw the actor injured himself while shooting at JW Marriott Hotel in Juhu. Initial reports state that the actor was shooting for a dance sequence when a door fell on him and he hurt his face and head. Shah Rukh received a standing ovation for his professionalism from the cast and the crew of 'Happy New Year' as after taking medicines, he returned to the set for shoot. Good friend and filmmaker Farah Khan cancelled the shoot. Happy New Year is an ensemble film which also stars Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah. It is slated to release during Diwali.

Sushant Singh Rajput secretly wed girlfriend Ankita Lokhande?

‘Shuddh Desi Romance' actor Sushant Singh Rajput and his girlfriend of five years Ankita Lokhande have reportedly tied the knot in a hush hush ceremony in Ujjain. The couple who's been living together for the past five years, first met on the sets of television show 'Pavitra Rishta'. And it was later on the sets of the dance show, 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' that Sushant first proposed to Ankita. According to reports when Ankita told her family of her decision to move in with Sushant, they disapproved, and owing to family pressure, the two got married in Ujjain and later moved to Mumbai. They chose to keep mum on the subject because of their respective acting careers.
