4 more Covid-19 deaths recorded
Four people died from Covid-19 in the 24 hours till 8:00am yesterday, the DGHS said in a press release.
The total number Coronavirus deaths in the country went up to 29,234, with the death rate at 1.46 percent.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. The positivity rate yesterday was 11.12 percent, lower than that of Saturday -- 13.70 percent. At least 900 new Covid-19 cases were recorded from 8,091 samples tested during this period. The total number of cases rose to 19,96,340.
Meanwhile, 1,983 patients have recovered from the infection, raising the number of recoveries to 19,24,960 and the recovery rate to 96.42 percent.
Of the deceased, two were male and two female -- all aged between 61-90 years.
