Martin Scorsese loves the f-word!

Director Martin Scorsese's latest film, Wolf of Wall Street, starring Leonardo DiCaprio has broken the world record for most f-words, which comes up 506 times over the course of the 3-hour film, at an average of 2.8 times per minute. The previous record holder was Spike Lee's 1999 film Summer of Sam with a 435 count of the f-word. This doesn't seem that crazy though considering it's one of the longer films in quite a few years. Wolf of Wall Street isn't the only time Scorsese placed in the top 10 of f-word movies, as his mobster films Casino had 422 f-bombs and Goodfellas came in at exactly 300. Excessive language is a staple of a Scorsese film, but it doesn't mean the raunchy language is poorly used or out of place, just that he deals with stories and characters where profanity is only natural.
