Corruption

We are simply astonished to see the scale of corruption that had reached such a peak in Bangladesh. While the ACC is investigating many more cases, about whom it has found clues, it is not possible for it to find each and everyone who were involved in corruption. Up till now, whatever it has done is commendable and big credit goes to the present CTG. It is an eye opener for the nation and will act as a step forward to reduce this social disease in future. We believe, whoever comes to power after a free, fair and credible election in the country, they would follow suit and gradually wipe out corruption from the soil of Bangladesh. The time has come to find out the roots of corruption. There is a general belief that only the politicians are corrupt. I have different views on this contention. In fact, each and every individual, some how or other, is corrupt. We start praising our leaders, our bosses and use them for our personal benefits, we honour and praise the business people who have amassed huge wealth by dishonest means with all the adjectives available in our language. We not only praise our leaders, we start worshiping them and wash their brains! We are guilty of making our leaders corrupt!
