Why not suspended judge's bail to be granted: HC
The High Court yesterday asked the authorities concerned to explain in two weeks why Md Javed Imam, a suspended senior assistant judge of Bhola District Judge's Court, should not be granted bail in a case filed on charge of possessing Phensidyl.
A HC bench issued the rule following a petition filed by Javed on January 2 seeking bail in the case.
He was suspended after police arrested him allegedly with 342 bottles of Phensidyl in the capital last December.
