Son-in-law kills woman in N'ganj
A woman was hacked to death allegedly by her son-in-law over a family feud at Mahamdupur in Fatullah upazila of Narayanganj on Saturday.
The deceased was Rokeya Begum, 55, wife of late Barek Sarder.
Quoting family members, Fatullah Model police said Rokeya had sent her daughter Maleka Akther Nipa abroad for sometime.
On Saturday night, Maleka's husband Abdul Khaleque of Dhaka locked into an altercation with Rokeya over the issue. At one stage, he hacked Rokeya, leaving her spot dead, police said.
Locals caught Abdul and handed him over to the police.
The body was sent to Narayanganj General Hospital for autopsy.
