Sust BBA students lock dept
The business administration department students at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (Sust) kept the department locked yesterday, demanding removal of the department head, Prof Nazrul Islam.
No classes and examinations were held as all classrooms and offices remained shut since morning.
The agitating students raised a number of allegations against Prof Nazrul, including delay in publishing results, financial and other irregularities, and misbehaviour with students and teachers, among others.
Prof Nazrul yesterday termed the movement "politically motivated".
