Birshreshtha Motiur Complex
Many people attended the function on 31st March, to witness the opening of a museum, a library, and renaming Ramnagar as Matiur Nagar. What I could gather from the people there that the LGRD Advisor Mr. Anwarul Iqbal deserves thanks and gratitude from the people for his initiative and assistance in the completion of the complex. The event was graced by many distinguished personalities and was well attended. I was deeply enthralled and enlightened by the discussions. There were many children who were carried away with emotion. The word "highjack" was referred when two speakers "informed" that at the time of 'highjacking' the airplane, the Birshreshtha had encountered physical resistance causing the crash and his death. With profound respects to all those speakers, who were probably well-conversant, the very word "highjack" is neither pleasant nor refreshing. One should be more careful and prudent when one speaks about a great freedom fighter.
