Heartfelt felicitations to Al Gore and the U.N.'s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change for winning the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize. The former vice president used the term global warming as “the greatest challenge ever faced." Gore's film "An Inconvenient Truth," a documentary on global warming, won the Academy Award this year. He had been widely expected to win the prize and the anticipation came true finally when he won it. Hats off to him! The world would have been different had he been elected as the US President in 2000.
