BAF Base Bir Uttam AK Khandker win Inter-Base Hockey Competition

Bangladesh Air Force Base Bir Uttam AK Khandker clinched the Inter-Base Hockey Competition-2026 title after defeating Base Zahurul Haque 6-2 in the final at the Hockey Ground of BAF Base Bir Uttam AK Khandker in Dhaka Cantonment on Thursday.

Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Operations) Air Vice Marshal Rushad Din Asad, BBP, OSP, BPP, ndu, aowc, psc, witnessed the final as the chief guest and distributed prizes among the champions and runners-up.

Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Bir Uttam AK Khandker, Air Vice Marshal Haider Abdullah, GUP, ndc, fawc, psc, along with senior officers and other members, were also present at the closing and prize distribution ceremony.

Haider Abdullah inaugurated the five-day competition on September 6.

A total of seven BAF teams participated in the competition.
