Artist Murtaja Baseer passes away

Eminent Artist Murtaja Baseer passed away today at the capital's Apollo Hospital at 9:10 am today. The news was verified by his daughter, Munira Bashir. After being admitted due to respiratory issues, the artist was tested positive for COVID-19. He was the son of renowned scholar and linguist, Dr Mohammad Shahidullah.
