Week-long exhibition honours Sheikh Rabiul Haque’s artistic legacy
A week-long art exhibition celebrating the 80-year creative journey of Sheikh Rabiul Haque, a writer, painter, singer and entrepreneur, was inaugurated at the National Art Gallery of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in Dhaka.
The exhibition will continue until September 18, 2026.
Renowned painter Rafiqun Nabi inaugurated the exhibition as the chief guest, according to a press release.
A cultural programme and discussion session will also be held on September 15 at the National Art Gallery Auditorium of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy.
The event will highlight various aspects of Sheikh Rabiul Haque’s multifaceted creative contributions and his significant journey in the fields of art and culture.
Painter Jyotsna Mahbuba and Kamrul Islam, general secretary of the Bangiya Sahitya Sanskriti Sangsad, along with other notable personalities, were present at the event.
