Celebrated Punjabi singer Surinder Shinda is no more
Renowned Punjabi singer Surinder Shinda passed away earlier this morning. According to media reports, the singer was suffering from a prolonged illness and breathed his last while receiving treatment at the Dayanand Medical College and Hospital.
Fans, celebrities, and politicians from all around India have swarmed social media to express their condolences.
Throughout his musical career, Surinder Shinda has gifted the audience with many marvelous songs, including, "Putt Jattan De", "Ucha Dar Babe Nanak Da" and "Badla Jatti Da", amongst many others.
Sharing his condolences on the passing of the artiste, Punjab's Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann expressed his deep sadness on social media, stating, "Very sad to hear the news of the death of famous singer Surinder Shinda ji... The voice of Punjab has gone silent forever."
On the legendary Punjabi singer's demise, singer Ashok Mastie shared his emotions on social media, saying, "An Era has come to a demise. Another Great Wall has come to an end after hearing the sad news that a voice, roared not only in the Punjabi music industry but globally, has fallen to silence forever. May Baba Ji keep his soul in his own world. RIP, Surinder Shinda Bai Ji. A voice that never ever will be forgotten."
