Having emerged around the beginning of this year, supergroup Hothat released their musical album and documentary on different platforms. Formed by the Watson Brothers and The Attempted Band famed drummer, Arafat Kazi, the band is comprised of rising stars– Fasih and Pritom from Owned, Zakir and Wasi from Conclusion, Zihan, Ifaz and Riasat from Arekta Rock Band, Uday from Introit, and Munhamanna from EIDA.

In a hilarious yet wholesome post on their Facebook page, Hothat posted about how their documentary has won multiple awards in different film festivals, as well as being screened on international platforms.

"Hothat: Friendship is music" was filmed in a farmhouse outside Dhaka, with an amalgamation of artistes mentioned above, as well as Aurthohin's Shishir as guest artiste, AvoidRafa's 'Bass King' Pavel, the powerful Tashfee, alongside teenage prodigies Munif and Audhip, flautist Fat Kabs.

Most of the music was made on the spot – giving it a natural flow, which is hard to replicate in a conventional setting. Their album-documentary is available on YouTube, for anyone who wants to immerse themselves in a one of a kind experience.
