100 new Covid cases recorded

At least 100 new Covid-19 cases were recorded in 24 hours till 8:00am yesterday, said a press release by the DGHS.

No deaths were reported during this period, keeping the death toll at 29,315, while the death rate at the moment is 1.46 percent.

The current positivity rate is 4.42 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 13.67 percent.

With the new infections, the total number of cases rose to 20,09,797.

A total of 2,265 samples were tested across the country during this period.

At least 257 patients have recovered within this time.

The total number of recoveries now stands at 19,53,368 and the recovery rate at 97.19 percent.
