Covid positivity crosses 15 percent

Health officials yesterday reported Covid positivity rate of 15.42 percent, the highest in the past two and a half months.

The Directorate General of Health Services also reported 737 new cases after testing 4,781 individuals, said a press release.

The tests were done in the 24 hours preceding 8:00am yesterday, it said, adding that a woman aged over 60 died with Covid during the period.

On July 10, the DGHS reported a positivity rate of 17 percent.
