One dies of Covid

One person died of Covid-19 in the 24 hours till 8:00am yesterday, said a press release from the Directorate General of Health Services.

This brings the total number of deaths to 29,411.

A total of 243 more were infected with the virus against 4,174 tested samples during this period. The positivity rate decreased to 5.82 percent from the previous day's 7.18 percent.

Meanwhile, 468 have recovered from the disease with the recovery rate now at 97.18 percent.

The deceased was a female from Sylhet, aged between 31 and 40.
