Rituparna Sengupta onboard for 'Chaurangi' adaptation
Celebrated actor Rituparna Sengupta will be seen in the film adaptation of Chaurangi, a novel by Mani Shankar Mukherjee. Set in 1950s Kolkata, Chaurangi, is a sprawling saga of the intimate lives of the managers, employees, and guests at one of Kolkata's largest hotels, The Shahjahan. The adaptation will be directed by Srijit Mukherjee, who is excited to work with Sengupta.
